He has been involved in R&D and industrial projects related to Li-ion, Ni-Cd, S-Al, Al-ion, Al-air, redox-flow batteries. Additionally, he has extensive professional experience in the commercialization of these systems and their components (Exide Technologies, EMISA, Saft Batteries S.L., Jofemar S.A., Albufera Energy Storage, Zelestium Technologies S.L.). President of the Spanish Business Association of Cells, Batteries and Energy Storage Systems (AEPIBAL) since February 2018.

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. With 20 years of experience in designing and developing synthetic materials through a fast, cost-effective and scalable sol-gel process assisted by microwave heating. Her research in this field is mainly focused on the optimization of the material properties for the specific needs of a wide range of applications, such as gas separation, H2 and energy storage, thermal insulation, catalytic processes, etc. She leads various national and international research projects in these areas, integrating collaboration with companies. She is the co-author of several scientific publications, book chapters, and patents related with the technology to employ in Glotac Technologies, and co-founder of the spin-off Xerolutions Ltd.

Master in laws. Over 25 years of experience in providing legal advice to international companies in formation and restructuring (joint ventures, consortiums, mergers and acquisitions, asset and company sales), as well as commercial law, including the negotiation and drafting of national and international commercial contracts (franchise agreements, commercial agency agreements, distribution, manufacturing, consulting, service leasing, turnkey, engineering, outsourcing, merchandise sales, etc.).

Her research activity is mainly focused on identifying and preparing new sustainable and efficient electrode materials for rechargeable electric batteries (Li-ion, Na-ion, K-ion, dual-ion, redox flow), providing consultancy services to national and international companies. She leads R&D projects attending to the characterization and electrochemical evaluation of different materials, which results are published in several scientific journals, and is co-founder of the spin-off Nanographite S.L.

Ph.D. in Materials. With 10 years of experience in the development of innovative materials. Her research is centred on designing and synthesizing nanostructured organic and metallic materials with tailored properties and specific superficial functionalities for various applications. She leads national and international projects in the search for alternative materials which can improve the efficiency of technologies of interest such as energy storage, hydrogen production and health sensing, taking as the main focus of her research lines the developing of simple, efficient and easily scalable processes. His research work is acknowledged by renowned organisations.

Ph.D. in Chemistry. Over 15 years of experience in the application of materials in energy storage systems. His research has focused on developing novel and eco-friendly carbon materials and studying their performance in different types of rechargeable electric batteries (Li-ion, Na-ion, dual-ion, redox flow) for electric vehicles and large-scale energy storage systems from renewable energy sources. He has participated in several R&D projects in the field of energy storage systems funding by private companies and publics institutions. He also has received training for the transfer of knowledge and entrepreneurship, and is co-founder of the spin-off Nanographite S.L.

Ph.D. in Physics. Over 5 years of experience in research and development of next-generation energy storage systems, focusing on synthesizing advanced materials, such as nanomaterials and electrocatalysts, and their electrochemical characterization, and in the industrial assembly of battery production lines. She also participates in R&D projects on the adaptation and integration of energy storage systems, designing and scaling prototypes. Currently, she is the head of the R&D department at Zelestium Technologies in charge of developing electrodes and electrolytes for Al-ion and Al-air batteries.

Degree in Chemistry. Over 5 years of experience in sales and customer service and one year of experience as head of the quality analysis laboratory at Joyería Yanes. He has researched for a year metal-air batteries focusing on the synthesis of catalysts to improve the efficiency of these batteries at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
